

Frank was born October 27, 1942, in Fresno, California to John and Alice Silva. He attended Washington Union High School and graduated in 1961. Frank worked as a truck driver, then a farmer, and then did both jobs for his entire life. He married Janice Barkema on June 22, 1963, in Fresno, California, and together they raised a son, Michael, and a daughter, Linda.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janice Silva, his son, Michael and wife Donna, and his daughter Linda and partner Richard Garcia. Frank is also survived by his granddaughter Melanie and husband David Moles, grandson Brian and wife Alyssa Frea, and granddaughter Michelle Silva.
Frank is also survived by his great grandsons, Waylon and Merle Moles, great granddaughters Charlee, Aubree, and Savee Frea; sister Betty and brother-in-law Ken Hartwig, sister-in-law Betty Barkema, and godson Kenny Hartwig. Frank also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who all love him dearly.
A graveside service for Frank will take place January 29, 2026, at Belmont Memorial Park, located at 201 N Teilman Avenue, Fresno, California, 93706, starting at 1:00pm. All who knew and loved Frank are welcomed to attend.
