Gabriela Romero Orozco

Our heart and soul has gone to heaven... Gabriela Orozco was born in Anthony, New Mexico on March 18, 1928, to Bernabe Romero and Maria Esparza. She married Jesus Orozco of Laredo, Texas on July 28, 1946. In 1948, they moved to the Fresno area. Gabriela was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was her husband's source of strength which drove him to become the accomplished man that he is. Her strength, passion and love for her family was what she lived for. In her final days, she was surrounded by love from her husband and all of her family. We will carry in our hearts and memories the blessings that she gave us through St. Jude, her favorite patron saint in our journeys in lfe.

We would like to thank the Saint Agnes staff that cared so dearly for our mother through out her stay and in her final days of life.

Gabriela is survived by Jesus Orozco, her husband of 65 years; her children, Bertha Barela, Albert, Victor, and David Orozco, and DeeDee Zavala; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at 1:00 p.m.
