Gary Anthony Poulsen

Gary Anthony Poulsen, a resident of Las Vegas, NV., went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 16th, 2026. He was 73 years old. He was born on August 29, 1952, in Fresno, CA. to Kenneth and Lila Poulsen, who preceded him in death. Survived by his devoted Wife, Pamela Poulsen, Step-Daughter Brandy LeeAnn Towe, Grandson Tony Wayne Holt, Great-Grandchildren Evolette, Tony Wayne Jr., QueSera and Zaniya Holt, older Brother Richard Poulsen, younger Sister Marla (Poulsen) Reisman, Neice Elizabeth (Poulesn) Wiegand, Nephew Andrew Poulsen, and 3 Great-Nieces. His Neice, Nephew and Great-Nieces always referred to him as and called him "Uncle Buck" a loving tribute to the amazing uncle that he was.

Gary grew up in Fresno on Princeton Ave. with many good friends, whom he used to refer to as the "Princeton Street Gang" a fond euphemism for all his buddies on the block. He continued to stay in contact with many of those "buddies" until the time of his death.

Gary graduated from McLane High School in 1970. He continued his education at California State University Fresno where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Communication on May 27, 1987.

Gary and Pamela married in Fresno, on October 11, 1986. Gary and Pamela moved to Las Vegas in 1989, where he continued his career as a bartender at the Flamingo Hotel Casino, from which he retired in 2019. Gary and Pamela enjoyed traveling to Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America, where they always stayed at the beach resorts due to their love of the ocean and beach. Gary like to try new restaurants, golf occasionally, and spend time with his wife.

Gary made many friends in the casino industry, many of whom he stayed in contact with after retirement. Gary never forgot his Fresno roots and always had news "tidbits" to share with those around him.

Gary will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched. Gary's family takes comfort in knowing that he has gone home to the Lord and has earned his wings.
