Gloria D. Pineda

Gloria married Juan P. Pineda and had seven children. She attended West Hill Community College in Coalinga where she earned her CNA Certificate in 1990. Gloria worked at Golden Cross Living Center for 17 years where she cared for and loved her patients. She retired in 2007 and continued to take care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gloria was known for her cooking, knitting, gardening, caring for her grandchildren and her chihuahuas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan; son, John; grandson, Luigi; parents, Jose and Soledad Dominguez; and sister, Estela Blanco. Gloria is survived by her children, Helen Pineda, Delia and Rusty Freitas, Paul Pineda, Hopie Pineda, Celia and Onofre Alvarez, Angelica and Rene Villalobos; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary

at St. Jude Catholic Church at 7:00 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial Will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Mt. View Cemetery.
