I’m your age now, been 25 for 7 months.
I’ve already been this age longer than you ever were. 
I’m older than you now.
It’s hard
Everything is hard and I still feel like a child most days pretending to be an adult.
I understand you more, yet I’m still angry.
Life changed at an exponential rate once you left and I wish I could have known what life would be with you in it.
It’s hard to see people who go through this kind of loss, when they still talk about them years later. I still think about you but it’s hard to tell people I understand. How do you reveal that you know this horrible feeling and that it will never go away, whether it’s five or 14 years it somehow always feels like yesterday. It reminds me of your mom and it reminds me of you. 
I wish that wasn’t the way I have to be reminded of you.
I’m glad to never forget you and our small time together. It was never small to me.

Hey Greggy, 

No one’s written here in a while so I just wanted to keep the candle lit. I wish you knew me now. I think we would’ve gotten along. I’m not really the religious sorts but I hope there’s something out there that brought you and Aunt Debi together. I keep going back to the time you and sandy took us to the zoo. I’m dating someone who was your age when you passed and it feels very surreal. I was eleven, you couldn’t have felt the same things I felt, but you were my best friend. I’m getting to this age and I feel like I’ve gotten a small perspective on how you felt around this time and I feel like you did love me, there was a lot of doubt in my life about love after everything that happened in the years after. I wish I could’ve been born in the right time, when this family had their generation, instead of in between, I miss you, I Love You, and I will love because of you. 

My "Brother" FOREVER!  We may have lost touch the past few years, but I never stopped loving you Greg!  Every birthday I celebrate for both of us!!!  I am heartbroken to discover this loss and send my love and support to all family and friends!
