Mrs. Lupe Flores, age 95 of Kerman, peacefully passed away at home Saturday morning, July 25th 2020.
Lupe was born May 29th, 1926 in Cananea, Sonora, Mexico, daughter of the late Francisco and Carmen Figueroa. She married the love of her life Manuel Flores in 1947. The couple immigrated to Arizona in 1957 and then moved to California in 1960. Lupe was the last surviving sibling of eight children. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Manuel Flores.
Mom was selfless and loved spending time with her family. She always made sure to make each one of us feel loved and showered us with affection. She enjoyed music, crocheting, raising animals, tending to her rose garden and watching her family grow.
She was a devoted mother; she treasured her children. She is survived by her daughter and son in law Maria and Rudy Reyes of Kerman, daughter Lupe Flores of Kerman, daughter and son in law Esperanza and Tony Noriega of Fresno and son and daughter in law Manuel and Elizabeth Flores Jr. of Madera.
She especially loved her role as Nana and enjoyed every moment with her six grandchildren; Danny, Andrea, Stephen, Jackie, Louie, and Monica; fourteen great grandchildren and great great Nana of one.
Services will be held at Stephens and Bean Funeral Chapel in Fresno with interment at Fresno Memorial Gardens.
