Helen Kojovich

Helen Kojovich, of Fresno, California passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021. Helen was born August 23, 1928 in Berkeley, California. She was a long time resident of the Bay Area before moving to Fresno, California.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband George Koyovich in 2005.

Helen married the love of her life George Kojovich in 1951 after his return from WWII. Helen was so very proud of her Marine. During their marriage, they made trips to Yugoslavia, as well as taking many trips to countries around the world. They also took a few trips, (well maybe more than a few) to Las Vegas, Reno, and Lake Tahoe where she enjoyed some games of chance while George watched over her and sat by the pool enjoying the outdoors.

Helen is survived by her sister Zorka Tarailo of Fresno, as well her nephew Ronald and wife Radmila Tarailo, niece Patti and husband Bert Cantu, great niece Krista Cantu, great nephews Michael and Andrew Tarailo and Kyle Cantu.

A graveside service for Helen will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 11:30 am at Serbian Cemetery, 1801 Hillside Blvd., Colma, CA 94014.
