He was preceded in death by his two brothers and one sister.
Ignacio is survived by his wife, Sara; son, Bill Zavala and his wife Rose; daughter, Maria Verdugo and her husband Eddie; grandchildren, Richard Torres, Gilbert Zavala, Jennifer Fairfax and Eddie Verdugo; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home, Thursday, March 10, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Helen Catholic Church on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
