Our beautiful mother passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2013, at the age of 101, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Fresno on March 14, 1912 to Pasquale Mastro and Josephine Papagni. She was one of six children. She was a strong, hardworking woman who loved life, and family meant everything to her. She would light up a room with her laughter and feisty personality. We will miss her wonderful Italian cooking and traditions. Our heartfelt thanks go to her caregivers Mary Montes and Anna Callahan. Mother was preceded in death by her husband, Pat in 1995; brothers, John and Frank Mastro; and sister, Katie Priolo. She leaves behind her devoted children, son Robert; daughters, Alvera and son-in-law, Larry Brugetti, Patty Seward, and Joyce Huber; ten grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; sister, Rose Barros; and brother Julio Mastro.
