Isaias Hernandez Tafoya passed on May 16, 2026 in Fresno, at the age of 70, having been born on June 16, 1955, in Mexico to Reyes and Audelia (Hernandez) Tafoya. He worked at Zacky farms for 25 years as a sanitation worker. Isaias is survived by his wife Cesaria Rescalvo, his children Luis, Sergio, Stephanie, Evelyn and Estevan Tafoya, his siblings Rafael, Guillermo, Emma and Eliseo Tafoya, 11 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home at 2:00 pm and followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm. Funeral Mass at St. John's Cathedral on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 10:30 am. Final resting place will be at St. Peter's Cemetery.
