Jackson Henry Smith was born in Clovis, California on November 23, 1993, and passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016. Jackson was 22 years old at the time of his tragic death. He grew up and lived his entire life in Fresno, except while attending CSU Northridge.
Jackson is survived by his mother, Pamela Smith; father, Daniel Dougherty; step-mother, Mary Dougherty; siblings, Linda Bailey, Danny Dougherty, Michella Dougherty and Lucas Butler; grandmother, Lorraine Smith; buddy and niece, Mia; niece Nevaeh, nephew Jax, many aunts, uncles, cousins and wonderful, loving friends.
Jackson was greeted at Heaven’s gates by his grandfather, Henry O. Smith, Jr., and his close friend, Justin Hesketh.
Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Graveside services on Saturday, July 9, 2016, 9:00 a.m. at Fresno Memorial Gardens.
A celebration of Jackson’s life will be held at Clovis Hills Community Church, 10590 N. Willow in Clovis at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2016, reception to follow.
