

On October 27, 2021, James Edward Crowder passed away at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Fresno, California. He was at peace knowing it was the will of Jehovah to relieve him of his suffering here on earth.
Jim was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 16, 1947 to Patricia Mae Thomas Crowder and James Wesley Crowder. Shortly after his birth the family moved to Firebaugh, California, where Jim lived until he joined the United States Air Force, following his graduation from Dos Palos High School. He served his country from October 16, 1967 until May 28, 1971. After his honorable discharge from the USAF he settled in southern California and married Emma Magana Overa. Recently Jim and Emma relocated to Coarsegold, California, where he was living at the time of his death.
Jim's wife, Emma Crowder, survives. He is also survived by his younger sister, Linda Kay Crowder and his older sister, CarolAnn Crowder Dixon and her partner, Jerry Gregg, all of Sulphur Springs, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service, with military honors, will be held at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 West McCabe Road, Santa Nella, California 95332.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations may be made in his honor to an organization or charity of your choice.
