On August 27, 2023 our loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, James C. Ordonez went home to be with our lord and savior Jesus Christ. He passed peacefully in his sleep during a glorious sunrise.
Jim was born February 10, 1938 in Cameron, Texas to Paulino and Rebecca Ordonez. He graduated from College of the Sequoias with a degree in Commercial Art in 1957. Jim married his true love Georgia Alcantara on August 31, 1959 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together they had three children, James Jr. (who died in infancy), Marie Helen, and Raymond Michael.
After proudly serving his country in the U.S. Army, Jim went to work for the U.S. Postal Service. He retired in 1993 after 35 years of service. Jim had a passion for the game of golf, and played as often as he could. He spent many treasured hours with close friends and family on the course. James was preceded in death by his loving wife Georgia and their newborn son James Jr.
He is survived by his children Marie and Raymond, his granddaughter Kathleen Marie, and his great grandson Thomas James. Our father was a very special man with an enormous amount of love to give. He will be missed dearly.
