Jeanette Carol Perez was born on July 8, 1948, in Prescott, Arizona, to Caroline Chavez and Ramon Medellin. One of nine children, she grew up in a close-knit family that later moved to California, where she spent the majority of her life. Jeanette peacefully passed away on June 6, 2025, in Fresno, California.
Jeanette had a long and fulfilling career in the window manufacturing industry. It was there that she met the love of her life, John McGee. Much of her professional life was spent at Anlin Industries in Clovis, California, where she worked alongside her sister, Annie, until retiring during the COVID pandemic. Known for her unmatched work ethic, Jeanette was the definition of dedication, always giving 110% in everything she did.
Outside of work, Jeanette was a devoted mother and grandmother. She cherished family above all else, never missing an important event and always making memories to hold dear. Her love for Hallmark movies, Mexican and Italian food, and taking photos of her loved ones is something her family will always remember fondly.
Jeanette is survived by her three sons, Joe, Johnny, and Jason; her daughter, Jaycee; her loving partner, John McGee; and her cherished grandchildren. She is now reunited in Heaven with her parents, her son Kirk, her brother Ray, and her brother-in-law Ernie.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, June 28th, at 11:00 AM at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns and Blair Funeral Home, 836 E. Nees Ave., Fresno, CA 93720.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Hinds Hospice in Fresno, California, for the compassionate care and support they provided to Jeanette in her final days. We are comforted knowing she is now in God’s hands and look forward to the day we see her beautiful smile again.
