

He worked for Pacific Gas and Electric for 45 years as a heavy equipment operator and working foreman, before retiring in August of 1991. According to Jack he met the love of his life, Patty, in 1960 and they married on May 24, 1963, celebrating 50 years of marriage together; prior to her passing in November 2013.
Jack loved to travel, play golf, fish and hunt, make his famous beef jerky, and watch the San Francisco Giants. He was a lifetime member of the Fresno Genealogy Society and a previous member of SIRS, Chapter #159 and the Clovis Elks.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia "Patty", his parents James "Jim" Morrill and Margaret (Davenport) Meer, his son Randee Morrill, his grandson Jason Morrill, and his half-brother Albert Morrell.
He is survived by his son, John Morrill, Jr. and wife Sandy of Mokelumne Hill, his daughters Denise Morse and husband Calvin of Sheep Ranch, Shelley Bryant of West Point, and Lisa Morrill of Fresno. He also leaves his brother Jerry Morrill and wife Rose of Oxnard, his sister, Susan Meer of Oxnard,
his nephew Dan Morrill and wife Lauretta of Fresno, in addition to 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to Dr. Rod Kraft, Dr. Donald Gregory and Dr. William Schiff for their many years of knowledge, care and friendship. We would like to thank Hinds Hospice for all their support during our time of need.
A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns and Blair on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 6:00 p.m.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any remembrances to be made to Central Valley Honor Flight or Hinds Hospice.
