John's heart belonged to his loving wife and family. His marriage to Savannah Matcham was a partnership radiating with love.
John was a man of simple pleasures, often found by the water's edge with a fishing line ready, or at the alley drawn into the camaraderie of bowling. His affection for animals spoke volumes of his nurturing soul, his kind-hearted nature shared not just with his circle of many friends, but with any creature crossing his path. A conversation with strangers could easily turn into the start of a friendship, as his openness and warmth were as infectious as they were genuine.
His life was intertwined with great love and affection for his paternal Grandfather, John Kermit Judd, a bond that anchored his history and gave depth to his legacy. Those who knew him saw a man continually reaching out with remarkable empathy and generosity, traits that he shared in abundance with his family, especially with his Father John L. Judd, Mother Maree L Papin, brother Justice T. Judd, alongside many, many dear friends.
Though he has departed, the impact of his presence will not soon fade. John Paul Judd will always be treasured in the memories of those he touched. He will be truly missed.
