He came to the United States in the 1940s and lived in Texas for a short time. He next came to California where he worked as a farmworker in Mendota and then Five Points. He retired in 2003 and lived with his wife Monica in Riverdale, CA.
His favorite things to do were to work in the yard, read the Bible, and go to church. Jorge entered into his eternal rest on Saturday April 13, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rosaura in 2006.
He is survived by his wife, Monica; children, Martha (Lemoore), Jorge, Mary, and Jose (Fresno); grandchildren, Mallory, Ashley, Corbin, Alex, and Juliana. He is also survived by many relatives in Mexico.
Visitation will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church in Riverdale from on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church on Thursdsay, April 18, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
