Tio Joe
Your smile  will surely be missed  by all.  Always kind, always asking how my boys and I were doing. Always there with the peppermints at church.  Always well spirited with your eyes and soul set on  God’s plan.  It has been tough losing my Dad, Tia Mercedes and now you. I am comforted in knowing you are with them  and all of you are  rejoicing together.  Until I see you again Tio Joe... Love you

Dear Grandpa of the heart, Thank you for always loving me and guiding me to Jesus.    Your encouragement, wisdom and caring heart will remain within me.

What an honor to call you my Tio. I've always looked up to you. As a kid, I remember that mean mustache you sported, along with a tough attitude,  and I would think" Now thats a man!" Thankfully, later in life, you showed me what a real man is. You were a man whose life centered around Jesus Christ. That tough attitude gave way to a gentle soul. Quick to love, slow to anger. A kiss on the cheek was how you said hello. You had an unquenchable thirst for God. Your eyes always on the prize... Receive your prize Tio!

Tío Joe. What can I say... you were a good Tio to us. You always cared and made it easy to talk to you. This past year has been hard letting go of loved ones in our family. It’s hard to let you go too. Thank you for your kindness.  Thank you for your love. Thank you for being good to us. Time is flying and the years are going by so fast.  I hope I expressed my gratitude to you. I take comfort in knowing I will see you again. But until then you will be greatly missed. Love you tio.

Pops, thank you for all you did for us. You truly are an amazing man. The journey that you had on this earth is an inspiration. Although your earthly time here is finished, I take great comfort knowing you are in paradise.  Until we meet again,

I knew of Joe through Church friends and family members who were close. Joe truly had Christ radiating through him. You can clearly tell by his presence that he was a true Man of God.  His smile will never be forgotten. His hugs and embraces for those that came up to him were so heartfelt. One day we will all meet again,  until then R.I.P Joe.

He was a sweet and Godly man. Always a smile and a hello for everyone he encountered.  Ready and willing to pray with or for anyone. He will truly be missed by many.

When he saw me he always had smile and a hello! A true gentleman and a child of God!


Dearest Dad

I loved you then, I will love you always.  Your physical departure has left me shattered in more ways than I imagined.  Thank you for everything you sacrificed for our family; a selfless, hard working man  who never skipped a beat.  You have set the bar high, Dad.   I know you’re peacefully resting now, free from pain and sorrow.  I can’t wait to see that smile of yours again ... until we meet again.  I love you, Dad.  

Joe was such a gentle soul. I got to know him a summer we all went to a Mexico mission trip. The more you got to know Joe, the more you knew what a remarkable man he was. He was a great servant who was loyal to friends and family and faithful to God. He was available to anyone who needed him. Such a good man and we will miss him dearly. We will see you in Gods Kingdom my friend. Until then...Adios.♥️

Thank you for showing me the ways of the Lord. Your love for Jesus and your family will forever remain in my heart and I thank the Lord for allowing me to be a part of your life. I love you.

Thank you Uncle for being a man of great faith and modeling godly obedience. You have given us an amazing example what following Jesus truly looks like. You will be missed dearly.

Joe was a great brother in Christ, loved seeing him at church and fellowshipping with him outside. He was full of love and grace, and never had a bad thing to say about anyone, and always had an incouraging word to say. You could see the love of Christ in his life. He also had a great sense of humor, and I especially liked joking around with him. I know it won’t be long before we will be together, sitting at the feet of our King singing, Great and marvelous is the Lord God Almighty! See you then brother!

Joe you where a very special person you always directed me to Christ. I’ll miss  our conversations and hearing you singing on Sunday mornings and hearing you praising God! Their are so many wonderful memories that I’m blessed with, missions, love sacks, and the singles ministry I always could count on you!  You will definitely be Missed by Chris and I but we will see you again my sweet friend.

Joe was a glowing light of Christ’s love. He asked how I was doing and listened to me intently many Sundays and I never worried about getting too deep too fast with the conversation. Every conversation was focused on God but it never felt forced, there just was no separating life from God for Joe, as truly is the case. He offered many wonderful insights and encouragements that remain with me today. I did not know him long, but I praise God for Joe. Love you brother.

Joe would ask how you were doing and would actually take the time to listen to your response. He would usually have a nugget of wisdom to share and then offer to pray with you because He knew that was the only real solution to life's problems. He brought joy and the Gospel to many, many people. Rest in God's presence, dear brother.

When you were greeted by Joe, it was always with a broad, radiant smile; when he hugged you, you knew he meant it. He genuinely showed you the love of Christ, he will be missed.

Jose was a spiritual father to me. We worked many days together at the church and he helped me grow in my relationship with Jesus. Jose I love you my friend and can’t wait to see you again in eternity.
