Joyce Darlene Reddin

Joyce Darlene Reddin (née Fisher), 84, passed away December 19, 2020 in Fresno, California. Joyce was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Anna Fisher, and her brothers, Harold Eugene, Wesley, Charles, and Robert. She leaves behind her husband, Wayne Reddin and her daughters, Charlotte Bavaro (Domenic), Gayla Matulewicz (Kevin), and Sherrie Rodriguez (Shayne), as well as six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and extended family members and friends whom she loved dearly.

Born on March 10, 1936 in Los Angeles, CA, Joyce moved to the Fresno area, at age 13, where she graduated from West Coast Bible School in 1953. She married her high school sweetheart, Wayne Reddin, and together they raised three daughters. Over the years, Joyce supported several family business ventures before enjoying a successful late career in real estate. Joyce is known best by her family and friends as a generous person, who always lovingly put others before herself. She cherished spending time with her loved ones, taking great joy in traveling with Wayne, even if just a day trip to the coast; having a “girls’ day out” with her daughters; playing puzzles and games with her grandchildren; and listening to gospel music with Wayne and their friends at churches around town. Most importantly, Joyce had an abiding faith in and love for God that she passed down to her children as a strong foundation. She was a longtime member of Peoples Church.
