
Ken lived a full life and was surrounded by people who loved him. He served in the US Navy from '42 to '45, worked in the jewelry business for 50 years, spending many years at the Warner Company in Fresno, and then pursued a second career working as an extra in the movie business. He was a talented ballroom dancer, amateur golfer, award winning fisherman, and bowler. He was loving and kind to all and had a wonderful sense of humor. He completed two fishing trips to Alaska and Guatemala in his later years.
His family and friends miss him dearly and thank him for being such a great part of their lives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Conrad and Erma Fries; beloved grandfather's, Peter Fries and David C. Shank; his previous wife, June Bottoroff Fries; and mother-in-law Velma.
He is survived by Angie Stuckey, his partner and true love of 23 years; and her children Don Stuckey and Sonia Sorensen, Sonia's husband Sugi and their children Nicole and Thomas; and cousins, Ron Fries and Barbara Barrett.
A Memorial Service will be at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Saturday, March 16, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
