Ken had an insatiable appetite for knowledge. He received his Juris Doctorate and L.L.M. in taxation at McGeorge School of Law. He practiced real estate law, was a published author, political talk show host, university professor, philosopher, and a great friend to all he met. If you needed to talk - Ken always lent his ear for as long as needed. If you needed a debate - Ken was glad to participate.
He was a loving and dedicated husband and father to Caroline and Cameron. Ken spent a tremendous amount of time mentoring and teaching his wife and son.
He will always be loved and admired as the great man he was and missed beyond comprehension.
Ken loved his parents Richard and Geraldine Kay who served the Lord their entire life and now reside in Clovis, CA. They passed their strong faith and belief in Jesus Christ as our savior to Ken who in turn ministered to others. Ken was more than a son-in law to Harvey and Marilyn Strmiska – he was a friend, an adviser and an inspiration. Ken was a fantastic “big brother” to Randy and Pam Kay and Mike and Annette Strmiska. “Uncle Ken” loved passing on his experience and wisdom to his nieces and nephews. Nothing embodied his spirit more than his love for family, friends and colleagues.
A Celebration of Ken's Life will be held at Peoples Church in the G.L. Johnson Chapel at 7172 N. Cedar, on Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. with a lunch reception to follow.
