Born on September 5, 1944, to parents Clarence and Jean Kragh, Larry and his siblings were raised rich with love, family, and dedication to God - traits that Larry carried into his own life.
Larry graduated Bullard High School, and later attended Fresno City College, where he earned his Associate of Arts degree. He proudly served for six years in the Air National Guard from 1966 to 1972. His journey in the family business began at the tender age of five, sweeping floors at his father's business as a way to spend time with him. This early start blossomed into a lifelong career as he eventually took over Arrow Electric Motor Service after his father's passing. Larry was a proud business owner, and was known for his workaholic nature.
Larry's marriage to his wife, Geri Kragh, is a testament to his loving nature. They have been married for 60 years, ever since Larry persuaded her away from dating his best friend through dedicating lots of time and attention to her. Geri started dating Larry, leading to the two buying a home in 1967, where they started their family and raised their four children. His wife, Geri, brought laughter and joy into his life, while his children and grandchildren brought a big smile to his face.
Larry was a man of many interests, enjoying 4-wheeling, opening the jeep trails at the beginning of the season, hunting, fishing, and traveling. Larry cherished spending time at the family cabin in Shaver Lake, whether with family, friends, or alone with his dogs. He loved tinkering, teaching card games and then playing them for hours, and spending time with his grandchildren. Music was a significant part of his life, having grown up in a musical family, and though he was shy about it, his powerful singing voice was unforgettable and sent chills through your body.
Larry's personal qualities were as impressive as his interests. He served God, his family, and his community with dedication. He was known for his generosity, his kindness, and the way he helped others with a hand up rather than a handout. His thoughtful, quiet, and forgiving nature made him a surrogate father to many. He was selfless, humble, and a patient teacher who loved sharing his passions with others.
Larry is predeceased by his father Clarence Kragh, his mother Jean Kragh, his brother Warren Kragh and spouse Karen Kragh, and his brother-in-law Clyde Lewis. Larry is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Geri Kragh, and by his children; daughter Joely Ferris and spouse Dale Ferris, daughter Kimberly Kragh, son Scott Kragh and spouse Holly Kragh, and son Jeff Kragh. He is also survived by his sister, Judy Lewis, as well as his cherished grandchildren Bailey Ferrell and spouse Elora Ferrell, Emma McElroy and spouse Logan McElroy, Jakeb Kragh, Kyle Hall, Jensen Kragh and partner Selena Excinia, Carson Kragh, Avery Kragh, and Brooklyn Kragh.
