Lela Faye Wood

Lela enjoyed sewing and was a wonderful cook. Everyone especially enjoyed her pies and hot yeast rolls. She was a member of Lifeway Baptist Church and was active in church activities until her health declined. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She will be remembered by those who loved her for her giving spirit and loving heart.

We would like to thank everyone who provided care to her and to everyone for their prayers, cards and visits.

Lela was preceded in death by her husband, Woody in 2006. They were married nearly 68 years.

Lela is survived by her son, Ron Wood; daughters, Linda Boudreau, Susan Crouch and her husband Ken; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her brother-in-law, DuWayne Hunnicutt of Arkansas and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home, on Monday, May 9, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Clovis Cemetery.
