Lisa Cruz was born in Fresno, California to Rose and Mauro Napoletano Jr. She shared her childhood with her older brother Mauro, whose affectionate nickname was “Butchy”. They both were surrounded by the warmest and most loving family. It’s no surprise that this love and care helped shape Lisa into the beautiful person she was who touched so many of our lives. Lisa loved her family and put them above all others. She also loved her extended family of cousins, nieces and nephews who were never forgotten for birthdays, special events, and during Christmas time.
Lisa was also extremely kind and selfless, often stopping for homeless and those less fortunate, offering them prayers, snacks, and ice water on Fresno's hot summer months and even a temporary residence at times. One could always hear her say “I need to do my one good deed for Jesus everyday”. These good deeds would keep her going on days when she was not feeling well.
Lisa’s faith in God, Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior, love of family and life was unchallenged and never wavered, even in her final hour. On October 25, 2024 Lisa peacefully passed in the comfort of her home, where she was surrounded by her loving husband, her loving son, and life long friends. Lisa is survived by her husband Louis “Celio” Cruz, her son Christopher Cruz, brother Mauro Napoletano, and her many nieces and nephews, and close friends.
