Lois L. Espinosa, beloved daughter, sister, niece, and aunt, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025, at the age of 58. She was born in Fresno, California, on November 3, 1966, to George and Mary Espinosa and was raised with the values of faith, family, and kindness that guided her throughout her life.
Though Lois never had children of her own, she devoted herself wholeheartedly to her nieces and nephews, who were the light of her life. She cherished every moment spent with them—whether celebrating holidays, sharing laughter, or offering her unwavering love and support.
Lois will be remembered for her gentle spirit, generous heart, and her ability to bring joy to those around her. She found happiness in family gatherings, shopping trips, and the traditions that kept her close to her loved ones. In her free time, Lois enjoyed coloring, working on puzzles, and playing her Nintendo 64—hobbies that brought her peace, joy, and countless hours of fun. She also loved the excitement of visiting the casino, where she created many joyful memories with loved ones. Additionally, Lois cherished attending program with her friends and the wonderful staff who became extended family to her. Her proudest moments were always centered on family, and she considered her role as a loving aunt one of her greatest blessings.
She is survived by her siblings Linda, Maria, Martha, George, and Joseph; her cherished nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, along with a host of extended family members and friends who will miss her deeply. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Espinosa, and her beloved late sister, Josie, with whom she is now joyfully reunited.
Lois will be remembered as someone who placed family above all else and who lived a life filled with love, kindness, and laughter. Her memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held on November 7, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
