She was born and raised in Fresno, CA, where she met her future husband, Lindy, at Hammer Field during World War II. A few years after the war, they moved to St. Louis, MO, for the majority of their working years, and raised a family. After raising her children, Louise worked as an administrative secretary at a local school district, while her husband worked for McDonnell Douglas and Boeing. After their retirement, they moved back to Fresno. They spent their retirement years with friends and her family, as well as enjoying traveling and ocean cruises.
Affectionately called "Aunt Wheezy" by her nephews and nieces, she was a joy to be around. As the last surviving sibling, Louise loved to tell stories of her childhood growing up with her nine brothers and sisters.
Lindy preceded her in death.
She is survived by two children, Scott and his wife Sherry, and Tom and his wife Susan; three grandchildren, Cara, Jenna, and Matthew; and two great-grandchildren, Christian and Jaxson.
