Lydia lived a fulfilling and impactful life. Lydia grew up in Sanger, California with her father, Efren, mother Rebecca, brother Efren, and sister Terry. She attended Sanger High School, where she met many friends who she remained close to throughout her life. Lydia deeply cherished her many childhood trips to the Palm Springs area to spend time with her cousins.
After high school, she attended Fresno State where she met George, her husband of 36 years, and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. She worked most of her professional career at Central Valley Regional Center in Fresno, where she served the developmentally disabled and their families. While working at CVRC she also raised two children, George and Matthew Rodriguez. She cherished the time spent raising her children with her husband George.
Throughout her life, Lydia touched the lives of those around her including her family, many friends, coworkers, and clients that she served at Central Valley Regional Center. She was deeply compassionate in supporting those close to her and brought joy to everyone she interacted with.
Lydia is preceded in death by her father Efren Coronado, mother Rebecca Coronado, brother Efren Coronado, and husband George Rodriguez III.
Lydia is survived by her sister Terry Wyrick, and sons George Rodriguez IV and Matthew Rodriguez.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 at The Well, 325 Nees Ave., Clovis, CA at 11:00am. A committal service and reception will follow.
