Lyle Clifford Gallock was born January 31,1916, in Canada to Emma and Henry Gallock. He was the first of five brothers: Vic, Gene, Don, and Ray. He lived in Fresno since 1922. He started school at Lafayette Elementary and graduated from Fresno High School in 1934.
He owned a coin-operated business for 60 years. Lyle married "girl next door" Dorothy Ferretti in 1941.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and four brothers.
He is survived by his three children: Gene Gallock and wife Donita of Sebastopol, Kathleen and husband Leo Pirok of Fresno & Ed Gallock of Long Beach; five grandchildren: Christian, Beth, Nicholas, Jason and Leah; and eight great-grandchildren: Jason, Nolan, Anthony, Sara, Amanda, Orion, Sophia and Alex.
