Minnie Mae Hughes went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 15, 2012. Minnie was born on May 18, 1925, in Yellville, Arkansas, the 11th of 13 children. She married William D. Hughes in January 1944.
Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 52 years and her oldest daughter, Barbara Fendley. She is survived by her daughter Linda J. Delaney and sons John Hughes and Ray Hughes. She is survived by 6 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Minnie was a resident of Fresno for the past 50 years where she loved spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren, taking trips with her husband, and chrocheting.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Services will be held at the East Princeton Baptist Church at 2726 N. Chestnut on Thursday, March 22, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., with interment at the Clovis Cemetary after the service.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the East Princeton Baptist Church.
