Maria Delores Quodala passed peacefully at home on October 5, 2025. Maria was born in Brawley, California on October 29, 1928. She met the love of her life, Gerardo Florencio Quodala in the early 1940’s and they married September 18, 1942. Also known as Lola and Sonny, they made their home in Kerman, California where they raised six daughters. Maria was active in church, enjoyed helping others, and was an excellent seamstress. Having five active daughters always kept her busy as she sewed wardrobes for them as well as cheer team uniforms and Rainbow Girl formals. Her favorite activities included cooking, camping, fishing, and singing with family and friends. Maria was a wonderful grandmother who took an active role in the raising of her ten grandchildren. She has passed down her legacy of perfectionism to all the generations who follow her.
Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Gerardo and daughters Judy Quodala, and Peggy Ann McMillan. She is survived by her daughters, Dorothy Dias, Deborah Bryant, Linda Yrigollen, and Pamela Howard as well as 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 3, (+2) great great grandchildren. Her memories will live on in the hearts of the many lives she touched.
