Maria Trinidad Ramirez was born in La Piedad Michoacán, Mexico on October 12th, 1943, the second child of Baldomero Sr. and Guadalupe Hernandez.
Trini grew up in La Piedad, until she was 17 years of age. In 1960, her father Baldomero Sr. brought his family to Five Points, CA, where Trini worked as a farm laborer to make ends meet. In 1969, Trini along with her family moved to Avenal, CA and where she continued working as a farm laborer to help support her family.
In 1972, Trini married Francisco Ramirez, and together they had four children: Pablo, Roberto (Lalo), Guadalupe (Lupe), and Jaime. Trini attended West Hills Community College, graduating with an Associate’s Degree in Child Development. Trini stopped working in the fields and worked as a teacher for the Avenal Head Start in Avenal, CA, until 2004; retiring.
Trini loved God, her family, cooking, music, and flowers. She was immensely proud of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She frequently said, “Children are a blessing.” Trini is survived by Francisco Ramirez, her husband of 45 years, four children, ten grandchildren: Andrew, Ray, Ines, Yvette, Noah, Brandon, Natalia, and Josefina Ramirez, Isaiah Farias, and Xavier Marranate, two great grandchildren: Weston Ramirez and David Lara, three brothers; Baldomero Jr., Rafael, and Roberto Hernandez, and many extended family members.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 428 E. Kern St, Avenal, CA 93204 at 10:00 am on Friday, December 15th, 2017.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
