Marilyn Elaine Silva of Fresno, California went to be with the Lord at the age of 62 on January 19, 2017. Ms. Silva was a Fresno Unified special education teacher for almost 30 years. She also taught Sunday school at Church of Christ. She loved to sing, quilt, bake, and sew. She was a member of the Edison high school girls basketball booster club.
Marilyn is survived by "her girls"; Amanda and Alexa Sexton, and Vicky Sims.
Waiting in heaven for her is her mother, Doris Silva.
A Graveside Service was held on Thursday, January 26, 2017, at Fresno Memorial Gardens.
She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and the community.
