Marjorie Ellen Flickinger

She was beloved wife to Ron Flickinger of Cayucos formerly of Fresno. Margie, the class of 1961 Central High Valedictorian, and Ron fell in love in high school while she was helping him with homework and were together ever since. The high school sweethearts married in May of 1962 and they were off on life's adventure.

Margie was a supervisor at Social Security for over 25 years before retiring to their new home at the coast. She enjoyed vacationing at her Kauai time share with Ron, family gatherings, her grandsons and Elvis. We know in heaven you will no longer be lost in the cloud of Alzheimers but found in the lords embrace.

She is survived and will be greatly missed by her husband Ronnie; her son, Robert Flickinger, her daughter, Amy and her husband Jon. She has four grandson's, Darby, Jon, Christian and Jacob who will miss their "Grammy" very much. She is also survived by her brothers, Bud Holden of Hanford, Bobbie Blackwell of Riverdale, William Holden of Cayucos; sister, Thelma Johnson of Fresno.

A Graveside Service will be held at Fresno Memorial Gardens, on Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at 10:00 a.m.
