Martha Jane Irwin

Jane was a graduate of Fresno High School (1948) and attended both the College of Notre Dame in Belmont, Ca, and Fresno State College. Jane met and married Charles E. Irwin (Chuck}, an Air Force pilot on 4/19/1953 and began her world travels.

After Chuck retired, they settled back in Fresno and both became very involved in barbershop singing. Jane was a member of the California Heartland Chorus serving in multiple capacities including President. Jane and Chuck attended conventions for almost four decades traveling widely around the U.S. and Canada. They also had time to travel to Great Britian, several European countries, Southeast Asia, Japan and their favorite vacation spot, Hawaii.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank J. and Caralou Bruce Oneto, brothers Bruce and Barry Oneto and her sister Marilou Oneto Ellis. She leaves her husband of over 67 years, Chuck, son Jim and wife Paula (Fresno), son Barry and wife Kathy (Sun Valley, ID.), daughter Ann and husband Eric Essayan (Fresno), daughter Cathy and husband Matt Foraker (Mariposa), daughter Becky and husband John Sauceda (Caldwell, ID.), eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
