Mary Mildred Phillips

Mary Mildred Phillips, born on October 16, 1939, in Grass Valley, CA, passed away on February 25, 2025, in Fresno, CA. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, James Phillips, of Raisin City, her sons Terry Phillips of Raisin City, Brendan Phillips of New Mexico, and David Phillips of Coarsegold, and her daughter, Loretta Willman, of Oroville. She was grandmother to 8 and great-grandmother to 1. She is also survived by her brother, Austin Johnson of Raisin City, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was the glue that held us together, and will be missed greatly.

Mildred dedicated her life to her family and truly loved God with all of her heart. She faithfully attended church her entire life, with her last 25 years attending Pentecostal Tabernacle of Kerman, CA.

She retired from the IRS, and spent the last 15 years at home enjoying life with her husband, James.

A celebration of life for Mary will be held Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lisle Funeral Home, 1605 L Street, Fresno, CA 93721. Following the celebration of life will be a committal service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at External Service Location, 7318 S Elm Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.
