Matias was born March 6, 1951 in Zacatecas, Mexico.

Matias is survived by; daughter Mary Ellen Aguayo; son Robert Aguayo; son Daniel Aguayo; and daughter Analia Sanchez Aguayo; brother Francisco Aguayo, brother Camilo Aguayo, brother Juan Antonio Aguayo and sister Jacinta Vera Aguayo.

A Visitation for Matias will be held Thursday, August 9, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Tinkler Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 475 North Broadway, Fresno, California 93701.

A Recitation of The Rosary will occur Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 6:00 PM, 475 North Broadway, Fresno, California 93701.

A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Friday, August 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 929 Harvard Ave., Clovis, California 93612.

A Committal service will occur Friday, August 10, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Clovis Cemetery, 305 N. Villa Ave., Clovis, California 93612.

Serving as pallbearers are Robert Aguayo, Daniel Aguayo, Camilo Aguayo, Francisco Aguayo, Paco Sanchez, Antonio Aguayo, Martin Vera Jr. and Jesus Romero.
