Maximo “Max” Garcia was born in El Paso, Texas on February 3, 1929. Maximo passed away at the age of 91, on December 8, 2020 in Fresno, California. Married for 62 years, Minnie and Maximo raised their two children and grandson in Hayward, California, eventually moving to Fresno in 1988.
Maximo was a hardworking and generous man who had such a big heart. He will always be remembered for his love, generosity and wisdom.
Maximo is preceded in death by his wife Minnie Garcia and by his daughter Martha Garcia-Price.
Survived by his son Tony Garcia and wife Lisa; five grandchildren, Roman Garcia and wife Blanca; Anna Quinonez and husband Enrique; Tony E. Garcia and Blake Facio; Derek Facio and wife Debbie; nine great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
