

May Kimura passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2014, in San Ramon, California at the age of 85. She was born on January 6, 1929, in Fresno, California. During her last days, she was closely attended by her family and relatives. She passed away quietly and peacefully.
May is survived by her husband George, whom she married in 1956. She is also survived by her children, Grace and Alex; brother and sister, Mikio Uchiyama and Jane Sumida; and four grandchildren.
May grew up in Sanger, Ca., where she lived until the family was relocated to the Gila River War Relocation Center in Arizona during World War II. After the war, she was able to finish her senior year at Fowler High School and then attended Reedley College. May was a Registered Nurse and graduated from the University of California, San Francisco School of Nursing in 1951. May spent many years helping to build Boy's Market in West Fresno, formerly on "C" Street.
Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Friday, January 31, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be at Lisle Funeral Home on Saturday, February 1, 2014, at 2:00 p.m.
