Morris E. Linder

His loves were family, hard work, and his abundance of friends, both new and old, that he made along his way in life. He was a man of many talents, some of which included farming and trucking, hauling everything from freight to cows. He was on the Orange Center School Board of Trustees for many years during the 1960’s, as well as an active participant in many other local Easton clubs.

Junior was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine (1995); his parents, Morris and Dassa Linder; and his son-in-law, Tom Stumpf.

He was a loving and wonderful father and grandfather, known to his many grandkids as “Big Papa.” He will be terribly missed. He was part of a very large family.

Surviving him are his children, Eddie Linder of Fresno, Pam Lasswell and her husband Ray of Madera, and Debbie Stumpf of Riverdale; his sisters, Lucille Cederquist of Fresno and Virginia Seifert and her husband, Floyd of Anaheim. His surviving grandchildren are, Shawn Linder, Shannon Toschi-Hunt, Lori Linder-Carroll, Stacey Stumpf , Shea Lasswell-Parker, Lynnette Stumpf-Thomas, Erin Lasswell-Foster, Eddie Linder, T.J. Stumpf, Megan Lasswell, Denise Gunlund-Ruiz, and Melissa Gunlund. He was great-grandfather to 26 beautiful children and 1 great-great-grandson. He also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends who loved him and will miss him terribly.

There will be a Visitation at Lisle Funeral Home on Sunday, November 25, 2012 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at Fresno Memorial Gardens on Monday, November 26, 2012 at 1:00 pm.
