When the war broke out he was interned in Poston, AZ in 1949 he married Teruko (Terrie) Fukuchi and were married for 51 years until her passing in May 2000.
Nobuji is survived by his son David Kurokawa and wife Linda, daughter Janis Kurokawa-Welch and husband Bill, grandchildren Cassie Caitlin Dylan Jessica Whitney, brother Jeorge Hashizume and wife Setuko, brother in law Haruo Imamura, sister in laws Hatsune Fukuchi, Mary Fukuchi, Myrna Fukuchi and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 2:00 pm.
