University of Santa Thomas and earned a Bachelor's degree in commerce. Orlando came to the United States in the 1970s, and has since been a resident.
Orlando worked for the Philippine Customs, and once established in the United States, worked as store manager in men's retail stores from
Chicago to California. Orlando loved singing and playing the piano. He was an amid golf player and was a fan of classic sports cars. His dad was from Barcelona, Spain who influenced him to admire Spanish music.
Widowed from his wife, Carmen, in 2011, they were married for 48 years.
He is survived by his five children, Michael Nicolo Lopez, Maria Lucia Lopez Harlan, Maria Teresa Lopez- Carale, Carmelo Romano Lopez, and Paolo Carlo Lopez; along with 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. His surviving sisters are Encarnacion Hernandez, and Yolanda Ignacio.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Saturday, July 8, 2017, starting at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Recitation of the Holy Rosary and Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m.
