

Patricia was born on May 24, 1938, in Mendota, Wisconsin, and passed away on October 19, 2013, at the VA Hospital in Fresno with her loving family and good friends, Barbara and Larry, at her side. She was 75 years old.
She was raised in Appleton, Wisconsin, where she attended St. Mary's School and Appleton High School. Upon graduation in 1956, she enlisted in the United States Navy and eventually rose to the rank of Admiral's Flight Orderly. After being honorably discharged, she attended Monterey Peninsula College and earned a certificate in hotel/motel management.
Patricia worked at Fresno's Veterans Hospital for twenty years. She started as a telephone switchboard operator and ended as the Inpatient Statistics Clerk; a position she held until her retirement in 2000. She was a member of Gamma Psi philanthropic sorority and Fresno Emblem Club No. 125. Her hobbies included ceramics, crocheting, reading and sewing. She also enjoyed attending musical theatre productions and accompanying her husband, Jack, on his travels with the Elks Lodge.
Patricia was preceded in death by her Mother, Yvonne Heinzl.
She is survived by her husband, Jack, of thirty-three years; her daughter, Allistair M. Harvey; and son, Thomas N. Harvey, IV, all of Fresno. She is also survived by her "granddaughter of the heart" Charlene Zil of Vancouver, Washington.
A Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home, on Thursday, October 24, 2013, from 4:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m., followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial is at St. John's Cathedral, 2814 Mariposa, Fresno, on Friday, October 25, 2013, at 10:30 a.m.
There will be a reception at the Fresno Elks Lodge, 5351 N. Diana St., Fresno.
Inurnment at a later date.
Remembrances may be made to the California-Hawaii Elks Major Project or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
