Pauline Padilla

age of 82. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicolas Padilla in 2011.

On Wednesday July 10th 2013 our beloved mother left us to be in the hands of our lord Jesus Christ. She also joined her loving husband and partner of over sixty years “Nicolas”. Mom’s battle was short, but ultimately she knew what she

wished for, to be in peace and once again join hands with her husband.

Mom lived a fulfilled life. She always looked forward to special trips, whether it was the annual trip to Mexico with Nick, or on trips to the beach with her daughters. Mom was a classy and elegant woman who always took pride in her appearance before going out on social occasions, making sure her hair was just so and that she wore the right accessories with her outfits.

Mom was a caring and giving person, who stepped in if a family member struggled and saw that the battle was too much for them to handle alone. She never asked for anything in return.

Mom is best remembered by her children and grandchildren for her laughter, sweet, loveable and funny. She liked to share a funny story and make people laugh. The kids also looked forward to those special little money envelopes or card she would give them on their special occasions.

Mom was a private person who seldom showed anger or depression. Although she faced some struggles along the way she didn’t like for others to fuss over her. Although our hearts are full of sadness and sorrow we know she’s in a better place now.

May she rest in peace, and forever live in our memories and in our hearts.

Our Mother is survived by her sons, Ruben and Mario Padilla; daughters, Jennie Gonzales and her husband, Jesse; Grace Medina; Patricia Padilla; Vivian Gonzales and her husband, Lawrence; Irene Ybarra and her husband, Art; stepson, Roger Padilla;18 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Sunday, July 14, 2013 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

A Graveside Service will be held at Fresno Memorial Gardens, on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 10:30 a.m.
