Peter Michael Shubin was born in Rahmatabad, Iran on June 21, 1945 and passed away on February 26, 2025 in Fresno, CA.

The original “Good Guy”, Pete Shubin opened the founded Goodguys Tires & Auto Repair in Madera California in 1976.

Pete is survived by his wife of 31 years, Charlesia. His son Scott Shubin and his wife, Andrea; Craig Shubin and his fiancé, Adriana Urbano; Daniel Shubin and his wife, Marianne; daughter Wendy Jensen and her husband Mike; and daughter Heather Bischof. Pete also has 19 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A visitation for Peter will be held Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home, 836 E. Nees Ave., Fresno, CA 93720.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 10:00 AM at New Covenant Community Church, 1744 E Nees Ave, Fresno, CA 93720.

A committal to follow at Clovis Cemetery District, 305 N Villa Ave, Clovis, CA 93612.
