Phillip Gomez Favila

Phillip was the third child born to Manuel and Linda Favila on May 4, 1980 in Fresno, California. He was raised in Fowler, California and attended Duncan Polytechnical High School in Fresno. He moved to Fresno where he attended Fresno City College majoring in Communications.

Phillip was employed with Sysco foods in Fresno. He transferred to the Las Vegas, NV location and worked as an Inventory Control Specialist with the company. He resided in Las Vegas for 8 years before returning back to Fresno to complete his Bachelors Degree in Communications at Fresno State.

His hobbies included watching the original WWF and later the WWE. He enjoyed fantasy football and NASCAR. He was a big fan of Fresno State teams and the Oakland Raiders. He was a shoe aficionado always wearing the latest Jordans.

Phillip was loved by many, and left a lasting impression with anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him.

He is preceded in death by his Father Manuel R. Favila, his older brother James G. Favila, and his older sister Felicia G. Favila.

He is survived by his mother Linda Favila Caetano and stepfather Joe Caetano, younger brother Paul Favila and sister-in-law Tiana, spouse Yolanda Davis, and daughter Samantha, as well as many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

To honor Phillip a Visitation will take place from 10:00am to 1:00pm on Thursday, October 20th at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns, & Blair. Followed by Recitation of the Rosary and a Funeral Service at 1:00pm.
