Richard Ray Olander

Richard is survived by his wife Mary Ann of 53 years, his son Richard Dwayne and his wife Diane, daughter Becky, four grandchildren and their spouses, Audra (Carter), Michael (Katie), Cambra (David), and Rob, six great grandchildren Matthew, Brody, Ryder, Cayden, Shane, and Chad, and one great great grandson, Carsen. He is also survived by his brother Leslie (Helga) and sister Mildred, and many nieces and nephews.

Richard was a Carpenter’s Mate in the US Navy during WWII. He worked for Caltrans for 42 years. Richard loved the Lord and devoted much of his time to read and preach the Bible to all that would listen. He led many to Christ. He was a giving person to many charities, rescue missions, and causes. We are comforted knowing he is in a better place, reunited with his parents and other family members and sitting by our Lord in heaven.

Richard’s services will be held at the Lisle Funeral Home located at 1605 L Street in Fresno, CA 93721. A viewing will be held on Monday, November 27 from 3 pm to 7 pm. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 28 at 1:00 pm.
