In his early years he was a cub scout and played defense in football. He also enjoyed water skiing, snow skiing, and snowboarding. Later in life he enjoyed being outdoors and fishing.
He was a wonderfully skilled carpenter and worked in construction for over a decade doing ground up, framing finish, finish carpentry, concrete work, painting and sandblasting. In Big Bear, California he built custom mountain, and log style homes. Remodeled million-dollar Ranch homes, and Austrian style estate homes. In the early 90's he had his own business and called himself The Deck Doctor, which included deck construction, refinishing, and repairing. He also worked in the ski industry building chair lifts and snow making equipment in Bear Mountain and Snow Summit Ski Resort.
He is survived by his daughter Nina, his three granddaughters Ellie, Esmé and Enora. His siblings Caroline and Lisa, his mother and father Frances and Robert Ramage.
He will be greatly missed by all and will always be in our hearts. Until we meet again.
