Rod was an avid reader with a strong interest in and knowledge of history. He enjoyed spending time in his library. He also loved having his morning coffee and relaxing in the beautiful backyard oasis he created. He loved snow skiing, water skiing, riding the dunes, and traveling. He and Judy took several trips to Europe and Hawaii, many cruises including up the East Coast, the Caribbean, Alaska, and Mexico. They also enjoyed spending time on the Central Coast.

Rod will be missed by Judy, his loving wife of 35 years; his children, Ryan, Michele, Erik (Jennifer), and Michelle (Robert); his brother, John; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Sydney and Joseph, and great-granddaughter, Opal.

As you are now, so once was I . . .
As I am now, so you will be . . .
Prepare for it and follow me"
