Ron Lee Stalcup was born in Fresno, California on December 4, 1955, at 1:10 am to Vernell and Robert Stalcup at 6 lbs. 10 oz. Ron, along with his sister Vickie were raised in Fresno and Ron attended McLane High School.
As a young man, he moved to Los Angeles, California, where he pursued a career as a Pressman. Ron ended up making his way back to Fresno, and in 1992 he met his soon to be wife, Kimberlie. Kimberlie had a daughter, Ashlie, and Ron quickly knew he was ready to be a family man. Ron and Kimberlie married in 1995 and their marriage was shortly followed in 1996 by the birth of their son, Greyson Stalcup.
Ron, Kim, and Greyson (along with their fur baby KK) spent their time traveling throughout California, but Ron's favorite fishing hole was Shaver Lake. Ron passed on June 25, 2024, and will be survived by his wife Kimberlie Stalcup, his sister Vickie Horsfall, his son Greyson Stalcup, his stepdaughter Ashlie Prohaska, and his two grandchildren, Brylie and Aubrie.
A visitation for Ron will be held Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Stephens and Bean Funeral Chapel, 202 North Teilman, Fresno, CA 937061310. A funeral service will occur Friday, July 12, 2024, beginning at 11:00 AM, 202 North Teilman, Fresno, CA 93706.
