He is survived by his wife, Ruby, Flake, his brother, Rick Flake, his nephew, Roy Flake, his niece, Ramieka Morris, and his four grandchildren that affectionately called him "Papa, Ron”.
Ron and his brother Rick were well known throughout the valley for their demolition business "R.flake”, and later, R.Flake LLC. Both of these companies evolved from the hard work of their parents, and were successful, because they lived by their father's business motto, which was, “ A man is only as good as his word”.
Friends, as well as people in the business community knew they could always count on Ron to keep his word. He was a Man of character, and will be missed by all of his friends and family.
